Why us?
MOLE CHECKS AND MOLE TRACKING - SAFETY FIRST!
Lenghty waits to access specialist assessment can cause anxiety and concern.
Access Dermatology was founded to provide people in Scotland with an option for fast, easily accessible assessment of skin lesions.
Many lesions can be identified as benign straightaway. Where there is any doubt, a second opinion is obtained by sending detailed images to a UK registered Consultant Dermatologist, who provides a written report within 48 hours.
This "Consultant opinion" service is also available at the client's request (additional fee applies).
CRYOSURGERY
Removal of non-cancerous skin lesions such as skin tags or warts is no longer available within the NHS. Private surgical removal is very expensive and often requires signficant aftercare and healing times.
Access Dermatology is able to offer removal of many benign lesions, at a fraction of the cost, using a freezing technology that does not require local anaesthetic or any incisions. Usually there is no or minimal aftercare necessary, however, we offer a FREE checkup 2-4 weeks after any procedure to ensure everything is healing well.
MOBILE CLINIC AND RESIDENTIAL VISITS
As well as providing care in collaboration with some partner clinics, Access Dermatology is the first service of its kind in Scotland offering this type of assessment and treatment in the comfort and privacy of your own home. Costs for home visits depend on location, please contact us for a bespoke, no-obligation quote.
